An exceptional opportunity for a Reliability Engineer within a successful 24/7 manufacturing operation in the area.

 

Role Focus

The main purpose of this role will be to provide technical support focused on improving the reliability of the packaging operations within the plant through the implementation of continuous improvement technologies.

A secondary focus will be assisting the Engineering Maintenance with capital projects.

This is a Monday to Friday role, working 39 hours per week

Based in Folkestone, Kent at our Wear Bay Road Manufacturing Site.

 

Desirable Skills & Knowledge:

Degree in Engineering or a related field (desirable)

Maintenance & reliability experience in manufacturing ideal and a minimum of 2 years previous experience in high volume, multiple SKU fast paced manufacturing environment

CPG experience preferred

Strong interpersonal, organisation and time management skills

Technical knowledge of liquid filling, labelling and packaging processes plus chemical liquid batching processes

Solid critical thinking skills

An understanding of lean manufacturing processes

Ability to apply RCA and FMEA methodologies

Ability top lead kaizen teams in improvement and sustained efforts

Strong PC skills

Working knowledge of SAP desired

An ability to analyse data and make recommendations

Solid understanding of OEE, OTIF, SMED improvement programs

Good working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
