We are delighted to be supporting our client, based in Dover, who are recruiting for and experienced Medical Secretary/Audio Typist on a permanent basis working 30 hours a week. This position will have an immediate interview to start as soon as possible.
The role will require great attention to detail of medical terminology and secondary care as well as general clerical and secretarial duties.
Furthermore, the role will also involve:
- Typing both internal and external correspondence
- STRONG knowledge of medical terminology, medicine descriptions etc
- knowledge of secondary care
- Dictation
- Minute taking
- Handling inbound and outbound calls
- Making appointments
- Organising meetings
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
-Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent) grade C or above
- STRONG experience with medical terminology eg, ENT and/or orthopaedics
- Audio Typist Qualification (not necessarily medical)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a medical environment
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an audio typist role or similar
- Excellent working knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook
Part Time - 30 hours per week
£9.09 per hour
