An interesting new instruction for a permanent Junior Packaging Technologist with a key global manufacturing client in the area and is based within the R & D Packaging  Team.

The Ideal Person

The role is considered ideal for a gradate in Packaging Design, Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering or a related discipline, ideally with some workplace experience in a Packaging Development role (although this is none essential).

Ideal skills required:

University degree or Diploma through an accredited body in Packaging or relevant Engineering discipline, or equivalent industry experience

Knowledge of the development of various types of packaging components, ie. cans, pumps, actuators, bottles, tubes, corrugates etc and technical testing of the considered elements.

Knowledge of the manufacturing techniques for packing consumer products

Good project management skills, with ownership mentality, strong results orientation and business acumen

The ability to manage multiple projects, work cross functionally/internationally and deliver against company goals
