Recruitment Solutions (Folkestone) Ltd has been appointed to assist with an exciting new position for a Junior Development Chemist with a global manufacturing organisation specialising in a recognised portfolio of personal care products.

Applications are therefore invited from individuals with a Degree in Science or a related field in order to meet the needs of the role.

The role is being presented on a fixed term contract basis for 12 months and a favourable salary/package is available on application.

This exciting opportunity will be part of the R & D Team involved in the development and formulation of products within their personal care portfolio.

Laboratory duties will include initiating new product concepts, preparation of laboratory and stability samples.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders for example, Marketing and Production to support the development of the concept through to launch. This will include preparing and presenting findings and data to internal and external audiences.

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience of formulation, whether from a previous role or internship, ideally from an associated industry/sector.

A degree in science or a related field and practical laboratory experience gained in industry.

Communication skills are key for this position so excellent verbal and written skills essential.

The ability to communicate effectively across the business with colleagues and at all levels.

Strong IT skills with proficiency in MS Office and able to present date clearly and concisely.
