HR Manager

Ref: HM4478 Salary: £Attractive Contract Type: PermanentLocation: Folkestone

A superb opportunity for an experienced HR Manager with an established multi-national manufacturing client in the area and has become available due the registration of a long service employee.

We are looking for someone pretty special with experience of leading a team (HR Advisor, HR Co-ordinator and Payroll Officer all report into this position).

In terms of your sector experience, whilst manufacturing (or similar) would be ideal, applicants from a Logistics background are also considered suitable, due to it’s “fast paced” nature.

The role is a key player within the UK HR Team and reports to and works closely with the European HR Director to provide an effective HR service to the UK company and to support the implementation of corporate HR initiatives as required.

 

The Package:

Attractive salary depending on experience

24 days holiday (can buy/sell 3 days per year) plus 8 bank holidays

Mon to Thur: 9am to 5pm. Fri: 9am to 4.30pm.

Occasional working from home but primarily site based

 

The Role:

Building and maintaining credible relationships across the whole UK business the HR Manager will actively contribute to the strategic development and implementation of key strategic initiatives for the whole UK business.

You will ideally have experience of supporting both operational and commercial/office teams.

This is an extremely busy role so the successful applicant must be able to work at a fast pace and make decisions in the moment.

You will also need to be digitally savvy as the HR function is quite a tech focused department!

It is a very collaborative/open environment with plenty of scope to lead your own projects and implement your own ideas.
