Are you an experienced B2B salesperson with a flair for detail, organisation, and customer service? We’re seeking a motivated Commercial Sales Estimator to join a well-established and highly respected company within the construction industry.
The Company
Our client is a long-standing, family-run business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction solutions across residential, commercial, and high-security markets. With decades of success behind them, they are continuing to grow and now need a driven individual to join their Commercial Sales team in Ashford.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive sales professional who enjoys a balance of customer interaction and technical estimating. You’ll be responding to incoming commercial enquiries, preparing detailed quotations, and maintaining your own pipeline of opportunities — supporting the business in delivering exceptional service to its diverse customer base.
Once trained on the company’s systems and processes, you’ll have the flexibility to work in a hybrid capacity, splitting your time between the office and home.
Key Responsibilities

Respond to inbound sales enquiries via phone, email, and web chat.

Prepare accurate and detailed quotations and bills of quantity.

Liaise with internal teams (production, design, logistics) to ensure customer needs are met.

Maintain CRM and tender databases with accurate and up-to-date client information.

Manage your own pipeline, conduct timely follow-ups, and close sales.

Build and nurture long-term relationships with repeat and prospective clients.

Support the wider sales team with additional tasks as required.
About You

Minimum 1 year of B2B sales experience (essential).

Background in construction, estimating, or technical sales (desirable).

Excellent communication, organisation, and customer service skills.

Strong IT literacy and attention to detail.

Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects.

Full driving licence and access to your own transport (due to location).
