We are currently recruiting for a Brand Manager to join an exciting and fast paced, global FMCG manufacturing company. You will be required to pull on your strong NPD experience and be instrumental in inputting to strategic, insight led, brand plans that deliver company targets.
Furthermore, the role will require executing the plans communications and promotions that prompt the required consumer and customer response. Ideally, you will utilise your experience of working with high street retailers and/or superstores such as Boots, Tescos, Superdrug and Sainsburys to help promote and develop consumer brands through various ATL and BTL marketing activity. You will report into the Marketing Manager and be closely supported by a Senior Brand Manager within the Healthcare division.
Good knowledge of all-round marketing would be highly advantageous.
This position can be based in South East Kent, full-time or, split between London and South East Kent, depending on your geographical location. Please note, should you choose the option to work from the London offices you will be required to work 2 days a week in the South East Kent location, travel for this will be covered.

• Assist in market trend analysis giving guidance for tomorrow's agenda for the company
• Support and input with brand strategy
• Co-develop annual brand plans that will deliver the strategies and objectives with a robust programme of activities
• Monitor brand performance as well as understand and manage the impact of decisions and actions
• Tight budget management
• Work with the NPD and R&D in developing and maintaining innovation
• Organise and manage consumer research and market testing
• Develop new packaging with design agencies
• Brand communication and in market activation
• Work with SBM to develop powerful communications
• Work with external agencies to create effective communications
• Work with Sales and Customer Marketing to drive synergy across all channels
The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate the following:
• Relevant Marketing Degree or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of experience within FMCG
• UK market knowledge is essential
• Extensive management experience
• Experience with supporting the creation of A&P programmes across all disciplines (ATL, BTL and digital/social)
• MUST have FMCG/Healthcare experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Confident with presenting results - good communication skills
• Additional European would be desirable
• Show a genuine passion and enthusiasm to work with others and exceed in the role
