Assistant Underwriter
Superb opportunity with an employer of choice located on Kings Hill, specialising in insurance.
This role is placed within the High Net Worth Department.
Salary: £20K + attractive benefits together with continued professional development through internal training.
The team purpose:
To actively contribute and assist the HNW New Business Team to achieve objectives.
Developing and maintaining excellent broker relationships.
Liaison with brokers by telephone/email and correspondence to process quotations.
Providing quotations, issuing documentation accurately and in line with company service level agreements
What experience & knowledge are we looking for?
We are looking for a minimum of 6 months experience within High Net Worth or Personal Lines insurances.
What will I be doing?
Providing quotations and transacting new business applications
Issuing documentation in line with service level agreements
Working on specific projects
Managing own portfolio of work
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with colleagues and brokers
Ensure an excellent working knowledge of the products, procedures, underwriting guides and management information is achieved
Work collaboratively with colleagues
Always working to the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (or as you would wish to be treated)
Have a good understanding of how you play a part in the Customer Experience
The provision of high levels of customer care at all times
Qualifications:
Cert CII or working towards CII desirable.
