Fabulous opportunity for a Regional Development Manager for the North West Region, with a large corporate organisation specialising in insurance. The role is home based, but reports into and works alongside, their Manchester office.

In order to meet the challenges and demands of the role, you will need:

Strong knowledge of the  intermediated Commercial and High Net Worth customer base and markets and/or strong general insurance knowledge/experience.

A track record of sales and relationship development in the Commercial and High Net Worth  markets helpful.

A reputation for consistent delivery of excellent service to brokers and customers.

The Department:

This position is placed within the Mid-Market & Distribution Team and falls within Commercial and High Net Worth.

What would you be responsible for within this role?

The Regional Development Manager will demonstrate Leadership of the growth of Commercial & High Net Worth business for a panel of broker relationships.

Working closely with all functions to support the delivery of the Mid-Market Specialisms, SME, HNW and Schemes business plans for their customers.

What is the strategic focus of the role?

As regional Development Manager, you will develop a holistic overview on the broker’s business and plans, to deliver products, services and solutions that create mutual value and deliver preferred insurer status.

You will also be responsible for development of joint business plan for the broker and mobilising actions across the baseness that deliver that plan.

You will keep up to date with relevant eternal developments and changes to identify opportunities.

Leading

You will achieve the sales plan goals, targets and action plans.

Take ownership of personal development, supported by Senior Sales Manager.

Build and maintain strong senior stakeholder relationships across the business to ensure personal credibility and key decision makers

Build and deploy effective customer account pipeline and prospecting approaches for each broker.

Work closely with the SRM and Leadership Teams to delivery effective sales ownership and deployment across the Commercial and High Net Worth customer base.

Maintain a strong understanding of the competitors  and brokers across the UK Commercial and High Net Worth marketplace.

Deliver  agreed sales activity for the broker panel and maintain high levels of sales discipline and administration effectiveness.

Manage tenders and deals.

Support the delivery of successful product launches and major customer/hospitality events in respect of advocacy and maximising attendees.

What are we looking for in an individual?

The successful individual must have a proven ability to deliver sales plans, goals, targets and action plans.

Be able to demonstrate excellent skills in building and maintaining strong internal stakeholder relationships.

The ability to develop and deploy a joint business plan with a panel broker and mobilise actions to deliver that plan.

Excellent sales and relationship development skills, and discipline to meet sales activity levels.

Sound project management and business planning capability.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Initiative and drive positive change.

A can do attitude.

Share information on insight and actively seek the views of others to ensure the best decision is reached for the business.

Foster collaboration.

Demonstrate and advocate sales and relationship management excellence.

Act with resilience, resourcefulness and maintain strong belief.

Qualifications:

Educated to GCSE level of equivalent or higher.

Nice to have ACII level of study or higher.

Package:

A favourable package awaits depending on experience,  but as a guide up to £60K basic, plus favourable benefits that include (but not limited to, company car, provide medical cover, bonus etc.
