HR Assistant

Ref: HM/HRFolk Salary: £c £18K - £20K pa Contract Type: Temp to PermLocation: Folkestone

We have an exciting new instruction for an HR Assistant, which is being presented initially on a 3 – 4 month fixed term basis, with the potential to develop into something more permanent thereafter.

 

Working within a small, but exceptionally busy team, this particular role will weigh heavily on handling the “end to end recruitment process”, so we are searching for someone who can hit the ground running with a solid understanding of the “recruitment and selection process”.

 

The role will include but is not limited to:

 

Completion of confidential HR administration tasks to a high standard including supporting other members of the HR team as required

Responding to routine enquiries received by the HR department and maintaining the Recruitment and HR email accounts

Accurately inputting information onto the HR system

Liaison with preferred recruitment agencies

Placing the vacancies with the agencies and adding them on the in-house system

Co-ordinating, logging and forwarding CV’s received to the appropriate recruiting Manager

Arranging interviews

Reviewing shortlisting paperwork

Preparing interview packs

Sending out reference requests

Administering DBS checks

Inputting new starters accurately onto the system

Drafting advertisements

Supporting the Manager with their recruitment needs in terms of assisting, wherever necessary with the wording of job descriptions and advertising

Maintaining strict levels of confidentiality at all times

Attending occasional selection interview with the HR Manager as the HR Representative for certain roles

Updating the structure chart

Recording and monitoring all absence types

Excellent IT skills

 

We are looking for an individual who is really switched on, who can embrace the challenge of this integral role within the team, who can communicate effectively and professionally, both internally and externally.


You must be systems orientated and enjoy updating the HR system with information, maintaining high levels of accuracy at all times.

 

Hours of work:

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Salary Expectations: circa £18K+ - £20K+ largely depending on experience etc.
