Branch Manager Vehicle Hire 

Are you looking for a step up to Branch Manager Level? Do you come from a Vehicle Hire background? Do you have the talent and skills required for leading a team and really drive forward the business to the next level? Are you highly motivated and creative in your own business strategies?

RSFL are seeking a  Folkestone based Vehicle Hire Branch Manager for our client who is a very fast growing independent business who specialise in Vehicle rentals, contract leasing as well as additional services such as executive hire, MPV’s, Minibus hire and many more.

Working for an independent company you will have a more personal approach to clients and colleagues, no micro managing and you will be a valued employee not just lost in the masses.

Hours: M- F 08:00 to 17:00, Sat 08:00 – 12:00 and Sun 8:30 – 10:00 , you will work 5 days per week and include 1 Saturday (to be negotiated) and only Sunday cover as and when needed to cover holiday/sickness

Location: Folkestone

Salary: up to £25,000

 

All About the Role!

  • Managing staff  and the day to day running of a busy branch
  • Ensuring sales and utilisation targets are met and exceeded
  • Guaranteeing total customer satisfaction in all aspect from presentation of the branch, vehicles to timely delivery
  • Managing and motivating the team to hit branch and company targets
  • Converting enquiries
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
  • Experience of the vehicle rental industry Essential
  • A full clean driving licence is essential, as well as plenty of energy, motivation and drive.
  • Generate new customers, developing long lasting relationships and an therefore sustaining and increasing growth of a very profitable business
  • To be top of your game with regards to Policies and Procedures and any new Legislations
  • Oversee the Garage on premises that carry out repairs, MOT’s and services

 

All About YOU!

  • MUST have experience of car or vehicle hire
  • Use of PROHIRE software- ideal
  • Ideally have managed staff
  • To be good at planning and organising
  • Working to KPI’s and targets, analysis of reports, utilisation reports and revenues
  • You MUST be dynamic and highly motivated!
  • Live within a commutable distance to the Folkestone branch
  • High level of customer excellence  
  • Calm under pressure and keep motived in quieter periods
  • Excellent IT skills and a driving licence is essential
  • To be the very best at what you do, to fully understand the industry, the business, its staff and customers!
