Quality Auditor

We have an immediate requirement for 2 Quality Auditors required to start on a temporary basis after Christmas.

 

Experience:

  • Essential: A minimum of 1-year experience in a Quality based role in Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals or Cosmetics.
  • Essential: Experience of working in a Goods Inwards environment, completing quality inspections and/or experience working in a batch review role.
  • Desirable: Previous experience in using MRP or ERP systems for stock management.
  • Desirable: Previous experience working in a cGMP or ISO 13485 regulated

  • A need for flexibility with working hours required as it could include early mornings, ie 6am or late evenings, ie 10pm but you will be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Duration: initially approximately 3 months, thereafter, to be discussed.

 

The Position:

The Quality Auditors will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all inspection, review and release activities required by the Quality department are scheduled and completed.
  • The Quality Auditor will have a strong attention to detail and a working understanding of the medical device requirements.
  • This position works directly with site manufacturing, supply chain and distribution in assuring compliance for incoming and outgoing material.

 

Job Summary, Qualifications & Abilities:

The Quality Auditors will be responsible for:

  • Inspection/review activities required to support the release of incoming goods and finished goods.
  • Be responsible for release activities and ultimately the decision on disposition of incoming and finished goods on behalf of the business.
  • Be responsible to adhering to health and safety requirements in all areas.
  • Responsible for generating ‘Right first time’ KPIs to drive continual improvement.
  • Batch review/release
  • Goods In
  • Production Inspection
  • Forklift Truck licence could be considered helpful
  • Good MS Office skills
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Any formal Auditor training helpful such as Lead or Internal Auditor in ISO 13485 or 9001
