Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for Electronic Assembly Technician for client in Margate.

Working hours: 8 – 5 Monday to Thursday and 8 – 1 Friday (39 hours a week + overtime)

Salary: Circa £10 per hour – Temp2Perm

Responsibilities include:

·         Fault finding failed PCBAs and feeding back corrective actions to other departments.

·         Calibration and Validation of in house and customer test equipment.

·         Diagnosing and repairing faulty RMAs involving some customer contact.

·         Setting up testing stations for operators.

·         First Article Inspection.

·         Using continuous improvements techniques, reduce wastes, promote sound working practices and improve operator skills.

Requirements

·         You should be a well-organised and motivated individual.

·         Ideally you will have a background in electronics manufacturing.

·         Knowledge and experience of digital and analogue electronics.

·         Able to read circuit diagrams and diagnose faults down to component level.

·         Ability to solder and rework “Surface Mount” and “Through Hole” components.

·         A good understanding of mechanical and electronic assembly practices.

·         Fault reporting and continuous improvement techniques.

·         A good understanding of standard business software.

·         A professional approach and a sound understanding of business expectations.

·         Ability to understand and adhere to strict quality policies and procedures.
