Temporary Kitchen Assistants  Folkestone

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistants, to work in a busy Staff Canteen kitchen area in Folkestone. This is for a large well know employer on an adhoc temporary basis. You will be working in a very clean and professional environment. You need to possess high of energy as this is a busy, fast paced area of the business. In addition to keeping the kitchen sparkling clean and assisting the chefs you could also be involved in food preparation and front of house work.

All about the role:-

Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible

Collect and wash up pots and pans

Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery

Unload food and equipment deliveries

Keep the storeroom organised

Keep work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised

Table clearing in the canteen area

All about you:-

Ideally you will have experience in food prep and/or service

Hygiene certification – desirable not essential

Well presented

Good team work and excellent customer services

Able to handle money and carry out calculations

Attention to detail

Flexible in duties

You must have high energy levels this is a full on role on your feet the whole shift (with exceptions of breaks).

*You will need to go through a DBS and basic credit check
