We are searching for an individual to provide a combination of key confidential administrative and customer focused support to our client, on long term temporary basis, due to an exceptionally heavy workload.
This is a public sector role and falls within the Planning Department.
A full time position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday and paying a minimum of £13.22 per hour.
The role is wide and varied but considered ideal for an individual who can offer strong admin & customer service capabilities, together with a calm, engaging telephone manner. Someone who enjoys multi-tasking, co-ordinating information with no two days the same!
Working within the Planning Department, the ideal candidate must possess a high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently.
Someone who has the confidence to deal with often complex and often sensitive information and issues in writing, on the telephone and face to face with any walk in clients.
This could, for example, include dealing with developers, or landowners wishing to promote their development of a site through the local plan examination, or perhaps residents or local interest groups wishing, to challenge the case for development through the examination process.
Any experience of handling/managing projects could also be helpful.
