An exceptional opportunity with a global manufacturing client within the area for a Supply Chain Manager which is being presented on a fixed term contract basis for 6 months in order to support the business with the integration of an exciting new product to complement their existing portfolio.
There is some degree of flexibility in terms of level of experience we are able to consider, so this could be an exceptional opportunity for a well versed Supply Planner, with solid supply planning experience to bring to the table, who perhaps feels ready to embrace the challenges of a fixed term Supply Chain Planning Manager role, but equally, this could be of equal interest to an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager, simply looking for a fresh interim role for 2018?
Therefore, the attractive salary band is flexible, depending on your level but CV’s are welcome from individuals with industry experience gained in any of the following sectors: FMCG/Healthcare/Food/Aerospace or Automotive.
This busy role will focus on supply planning for this new brand, ensuring customer service is optimised across all sales divisions, in a fast moving environment.
Knowledge/experience of working with SAP would be a definite advantage, although experience with other similar systems can be considered.
The Supply Chain Planning Manager is a key stakeholder in the Sales & Operations Planning process (S&OP), with responsibility for product lifecycle management and supply planning of bought in items.
Working closely with other Supply Chain Managers, Purchasing, New Product Introduction Managers, colleagues in manufacturing operations, Domestic and Export Sales Teams, Finance in relation to S&OP meetings.

We are searching for a dynamic individual with previous Supply Planning experience gained ideally within FMCG, but ultimately keen to make a difference with the integration of this new brand
Experience of working across all levels of organisations
Good levels of numeracy
Demonstratable evidence of cross functional teamwork as we as individual accomplishment
A higher level general background education
Excellent computer literacy (ie. spreadsheets, databases presentations)
Although not considered essential, French language or other language skills could be helpful.
