An interesting opportunity with a key employer in the area for a Sales Operations Assistant.
Working within the UK Domestic Sales Department, the main purpose of the Sales Operations Assistant is to assist the department to be the overall “central hub” for the Sales Division and be the regular contact to all other company departments, so maintaining good working relationships with internal departments including Sales, Supply Chain Planners, Credit Control, Quality Assurance and Marketing.
It’s all about gathering, updating and distributing information on the in-house system (SAP) so any previous experience using SAP would be considered helpful, although not essential. However, you will require good levels of experience with Excel together with good levels of numeracy and general confidence4 with figures and of course, a strong attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will have role is all about technical knowledge of data entry into a mainframe computerised business system (SAP and EPoS).
Assisting in the reporting of EPoS data spreadsheets, database end sustaining account contact details.
Managing reports using SAP and Excel
Supporting the preparation of monthly Consumer Unit reports, Stock Units and Dashboards.
Managing promotional activity by setting up and inputting data onto SAP, electronic promotional proposal forms, files on the server and maintaining relevant logs.
Co-ordinating the promotional accruals by supporting the set up of all major account promotional accruals using SAP.
Liaising with both sales and finance to assist with all month end processes to ensure time management in line with audit requirements including SOX reports.
Updating the UK Brand Plan and Distribution Grid.
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, an excellent rate of pay is available for the right person together with attractive benefits.
