Planning Department - Team Assistant

Ref: HMT112 Salary: ££9.50 hour Contract Type: TemporaryLocation: Folkestone

Are you available for an immediate start?

This is a public sector position for a period of 3 months, providing key administrative support within the Planning Department.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week at £9.50 per hour.

Whilst any previous administrative experience gained within a Planning Department could be helpful, it is not considered essential.

Working as part of the Business Support Team, this is in essence, ideal for someone with strong administrative, customer service and organisation skills who can communicate with ease to people either face to face or over the telephone.

This interesting position will include but is not limited to:
Inputting planning application information onto the system where attention to detail is paramount
Following procedures that include issuing appropriate documentation to applicants, neighbours etc
Logging information onto the system
Processing pre application requests
Assist with Local Land Search requests
Entering relevant details onto the Local Land Charges Register
Handling incoming telephone enquiries to the department and passing to colleagues for action
