Pet Insurance Claims Handlers x 5!!!

Due to planned and continued growth within the Pet Insurance Claims Team within an established corporate client located in Kings Hill, we are pleased to announce 5 additional

openings have become available for Pet Insurance Claims Handlers.

There is some flexibility in terms of the ideal candidate, but it is considered ideal for an individual who has either:-

  • perhaps started a veterinary nursing qualification, but who has decided not to complete it or who was unable to achieve it
  • a newly qualified Veterinary Nurse who has decided not to pursue their career as a Vet Nurse
  • or an individual who has worked within a vet practice and picked up the claims handling experience, including familiarity with general veterinary terminology
  • or someone who has a minimum of 1 years general insurance claims handling experience, ready to move into a Pet Claims role

    We are ideally looking for someone who has detailed knowledge of animal care.

    Ultimately, you will become a competent Pet Insurance Claims Handler assessing the claim based on the evidence provided, with on the job training and support provided, a friendly and professional team

    The Pet Insurance Claims Handler will be handling incoming calls from the general public relating to their Pet Insurance Claim, gathering any necessary information required in an efficient and timely manner, updating the system records to accurately and clearly reflect the claim journey and keeping the customer informed at all times, in accordance with the principals of Treating Customers Fairly, or as you would wish to be treated.

    Additional skills we are seeking:
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    The ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines
    Outstanding interpersonal skills
    Organised and methodical
    The ability to deliver in terms of exceptional levels of customer service

    Applicants must be educated to a minimum GCSE standard or equivalent.

    Attractive salary available, depending on your level of experience but £17K - £22K largely depending on experience, plus benefits.
