Pet Insurance Claims Handler

Ref: HM9851 Salary: ££19K - £22K Contract Type: PermanentLocation: Kings Hill

Due to continued growth within this prestigious company located on Kings Hill, we are searching for a number of additional Pet Insurance Claims Handlers, to complement the team.

Working within the professional Pet Insurance Claims Team, there is some flexibility in terms of the ideal candidate, but it is considered ideal for an individual who has either:-

- perhaps started a veterinary nursing qualification, but who has decided not to complete it
- a newly qualified Veterinary Nurse who has decided not to pursue their career as a Vet Nurse
- an individual who has worked within a vet practice and picked up the claims handling experience, including
        familiarity with general veterinary terminology
-       an individual already working within a Pet Claims setting perhaps looking for that next step in their career (a more
        senior role is also available, if you feel ready to perhaps embrace that next step)

Ultimately, you will become a competent Pet Insurance Claims Handler, with on the job training and support provided, all within a friendly and professional team.

These are NON SALES roles!

You will be handling incoming calls from the general public relating to their Pet Insurance claim, gathering any necessary information required in an efficient and timely manner, updating the system records to accurately and clearly reflect the claims journey and keeping the customer informed at all times, in accordance with the principals of Treating Customers Fairly, or as you would wish to be treated.

Additional skills we are seeking:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Respect for business and customer confidentiality
Organised and methodical
Previous experience gained within a friendly contact centre setting could be helpful
The ability to deliver in terms of exceptional levels of customer service

Applicants must be educated to a minimum GCSE standard or equivalent.

Attractive salary available, depending on your level of experience but £19K - £22K
