Pet Insurance Claims Assistant (non sales)

Due to continued development within the Pet Insurance Claims Team, we are seeking 2 additional Pet Insurance Claims Assistants for our established client located on prestigious Kings Hill, where full training will be provided.

This is a Monday to Friday role, 9am – 5pm, working 36.25 hours per week (ie. 7.25 hours per day)
We are ideally looking for people available for an immediate start.
Salary: £16,500 per annum

It is important to clarify that although these are NON SALES roles, they are telephone based, but with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional levels of customer service to customers, where you will be handing incoming calls from individuals wishing to register their Pet Insurance Claim and completing general administrative tasks and mailbox management relating to this subject, so an interest in animals is also important together with some administration experience as well.

The only outbound calling will be to simply update a customer with the position of their claims journey.

A positive, articulate and professional telephone manner is super important together with a willingness to learn and embrace on the job training.

Other duties include:
Uploading claims correspondence and claims form information onto the claims system
Responding to customers’ written requests for claims forms or enquiries into the progress of the claims and any general enquiries regarding their claim
Chasing documentation from customers
Keeping the customer informed of the progress of their claim
Handling inbound enquiries from customers, veterinary practices and third parties
Assisting policyholders with general enquiries over the telephone
Working to the principals of Treating Customers Fairly, or as you would wish to be treated
Ensuring the system is kept up to date with any up to date information and ensuring clear and concise records are maintained on the system.
