In order to meet the requirements of this position, we are searching for an individual with a minimum of 6 months Motor Claims handling experience, who basically understands how the Motor Claims process works, in order to train and become a GAP Claims Handler (which is the difference between the actual cash value of a vehicle and the balance still owed on any finance, ie. car loan, lease etc).

The role will also include a combination of the following:
Assessing new claim notifications received by the company and assessing the claim documentation supplied by the policyholder and any relevant third parties.
A keen interest in cars (as you will be looking up cars and coming up with pre-accident value for the vehicle, which is a part of the role).
Negotiating with Motor Vehicle Insurers over the telephone and via email.
Making decisions on the claim.
A bright and fast learner
Someone good with figures
Keeping the customer updated with their claims journey by phone and in writing, assisting the Policyholder with any general enquiries by telephone, letter or email.
Excellent communication skills.
