International Logistics Coordinator

Ref: CPW Salary: £Competitive Contract Type: PermanentLocation: Folkestone

We are currently working alongside a Global Manufacturing Company who are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator on a 12 month, fixed term contract.  

This role will focus on ensuring, preparing and arranging the timely delivery of international and intercompany customers’ orders.

You will be required to co-ordinate with the intercompany and export customer service teams to ensure orders are released on time and aligned to the correct date, whilst working with the supply planning and production planning teams to ensure the customer orders can be fulfilled on time.

You will work closely with the Stock Control and Material Movement Coordinators to ensure the stock is available at the right time. Collaborate with the 3PL teams on the processing of the outbound deliveries. – a full job description is available during the interview process.

The successful candidate will have: 

·        Excellent communication and influencing skills

·        Good professional knowledge of INCOterm

·        Self-motivated with the ability to plan ahead and use initiative

·        Confident user of IT systems

·        Ability to analyze and interpret data to make accurate and expedient decisions

·        Excellent organization and time-management skills

·        Commercially aware with a clear focus on driving excellent financial & commercial performance.

·        Ability to create reports and interrogate systems

·        Able to respond positively to change

·        Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build appropriate professional, friendly and accessible relationships with people who use the service.

·        Analytical and numerate

·        Achievement of targets and strategic objectives

·        Proactive solutions and problem solving abilities

·        Ability to speak a foreign language is an advantage
