Cost Accountant

RSFL are working on an exceptional finance opportunity on behalf of an international manufacturing and distribution business, who operate in 8 countries and export their products to 56 countries.  

As an experienced cost accountant you will be accountable for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, targeting costing projects, margin analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying activities.  The cost accountant must also construct and monitor those cost-effective data accumulation systems needed to provide an appropriate level of costing information to management.

The successful candidate will have:

·        Previous experience of working within a manufacturing, distribution or engineering establishment in a similar role.  

·        Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to communicate with manufacturing, distribution and finance personal along with external professional bodies.

·        Vocational qualifications such as CIMA or ACCA

This role will be based in Ashford, Kent however, there will be occasional travel required with possible overnight stays in Suffolk for projects.
