This is a critical role within the busy Contracts division, working closely with the senior contracts manager to ensure that a first rate service is provided to the end user.

The role will be encompassing installations, Snagging and routine servicing of timber and steel products on sites throughout the UK. Responsibilities are varied and require excellent planning skills, vision and a "Hands on approach" providing proactive response to the varying and often demanding customer and field teams needs. The role requires good attention to detail, flexibility and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

The ability to motivate and direct the members of their team and self employed contractors is a priority, strong management of the company's personnel, plant/equipment, materials and vehicles is a top priority.

The role is customer led and the success is measured by meeting their needs and working to tight deadlines to achieve this goal.

In order to be short listed for this role you will have:

·        Experience of managing day to day work loads of field engineers and sub-contractors.

·        Good financial awareness

·        Strong customer services skills

·        Strategic / project planning experience

·        Good coordination skills

·        Experience of managing training and accreditations for staff members ensuring compliance within client’s requirements.

·        Experience of controlling movement, maintenance, service and safety records of plant

·        Strong ability and previous experience in delivering schedules within budgets.

·        A good all round education, plus computer skills are crucial to carrying out duties efficiently and effectively.
