Business Integration Analyst or SAP Superuser

An exceptional maternity cover opportunity with an employer of choice for a Business Integration Analyst, essentially focussing on SAP.

This role sits within a small but effective team, located in the heart of Folkestone, which consists of 2 additional Analysts, one focussing on projects and the other supporting business users.

In summary, the Business Integration Analyst (BIA) is responsible for working with business technology customers to support the effective use of business systems within the company, which is conducted primarily on SAP.

Whilst this is ideal for someone who has worked in a similar BIA role, equally, we are happy to accept applications from individuals who are perhaps SAP Superusers, or someone who has been really involved in SAP as a user, who has worked heavily within a Sales & Distribution or Planning setting, perhaps looking for a career change into IT, so we can consider people at different levels, depending on their skill set.

If you are an experienced BIA, you will support global super users and business process teams with major emphasis on SAP ECC application. This position requires resolving functional problems.

If an experienced BIA, we are also seeking experience in delivering change management and support infrastructure, together with excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
You will act as the local business hours in-person support resource, and provide local support.
You will monitor training needs, develop/update content and deliver training as appropriate.
Conduct business needs analysis, document results as business requirements and proposed related business process changes and validates the needs within the business leads.
Liaise between business users and IT counterparts to design, develop, test and deploy enhancements, fixes, upgrades etc.
Provide input to aid in the design of the business processes and preparation of functional specs for development activities, including reports interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms.
Participate in testing activities to ensure that the solution meets the business requirements and that new functionality and enhancements, do not adversely affect existing functionally.
Co-ordinate customer introductions and changes to other systems, including EDI systems.
Work with users to ensure change requests and developments are in line with a consistent European operational solution and alignment with corporate business process policies.
To work with Master Data Management team to ensure data entry requests are compatible with business systems and business process requirements, whilst ensuring that business users are educated to improve the quality of systems usage, and data provision going forward.
Manage SAP Security and Segregation of Duties, in line with SOX audit compliance.

Hours of work:
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Own transport required in order to be able to travel between 2 sites
