Due to a continual increase in workflow, we are currently recruiting for 3 additional Pet Claims Assistants for a lovely company located on prestigious Kings Hill with a start date of 27th August!
Therefore, when applying, please bear this in mind! You need to be available to interview prior to that date and be available to start on 27th August!
You would start on a temporary basis whilst you receive on the job training and support with your colleagues and once this has been satisfactorily completed, you would then be offered a fixed term contract for 6 months OR an immediate permanent job offer, so tremendous opportunities available, all within a superb organisation and key employer in the area.
These are NON SALES roles but all about delivering outstanding levels of customer service and completing administration to a high standard.
What sort of background are we looking for in an individual?
There is no ideal background!
These could be considered great opportunities for college leavers for example, with reasonable grades, looking to kick start their career or an individual with a combination of the following.
All we are looking for in an individual is:
- A great attitude and the desire to work as part of a team
- The ability to deliver in terms of customer care
- An element of call handling experience.
- A love for animals!
- The ability to communicate politely and professionally over the telephone
- Good administrative capabilities where accuracy and attention to detail is key.
The company specialises in Insurance and the role is positioned within the Pet Insurance Claims team.
The company works to the principals of Treating Customers Fairly or as you would wish to be treated and places a huge emphasis on customer care.

On the job training is provided all within an extremely supportive environment.
What does the position involve?
These roles are all about a combination of administration and customer care.
These are NON-SALES positions plus you WILL NOT be working to targets!
You will be handling inbound calls in a really lovely contact centre setting, from customers and policy holders wishing to register a new pet insurance claim on their helplines and ultimately assisting with thee smooth transition of their claims journey.
You will update the system with this information, handling basic enquiries, completing administrative tasks to a high standard and working within specific time frames in-line with company policies.
The only outbound calls you would make on occasions, would be to update the customer with their claim status.
Hours of work
Monday to Friday
9am – 5pm with a 45 minute lunch break
36.25 hours per week or 7.25 hours per day
£16.5K per annum which equates to £8.75 per hour!
